Help Us Support Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kiev, Ukraine
Dear Friends,
We are launching a vital fundraising campaign to support Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kiev, Ukraine after the Russian missile strike on July 8th 2024 destroyed a significant part of the hospital.
This fundraiser was started as donors wanted to be able to donate directly to the hospital and not through the United24 US site which does not allow for specific donations to the hospital. Please use United24.com if you are comfortable with that donation path. United24.com is also 501(c)(3).
Okhmatdyt was founded in 1894 and has been a critical part in serving the people of Ukraine since its inception. Every year, Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital treats up to 18,000 young patients in its 720 beds and provides emergency care to approximately 20,000 children in its trauma center. The hospital performs around 7,000 surgeries annually, encompassing all types of surgical interventions.
Your support is crucial to help us continue delivering these essential services and care to children in need. This esteemed medical institution has been at the forefront of providing critical healthcare services to children, especially during these challenging times.
Why Your Support Matters
Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital is facing unprecedented challenges due to Russian missle strike that occured on July 8th. The destruction from this strike impacted the anethesia and dialysis units as well as other portions of the hospital.
