Dillon has been passionate about lacrosse since kindergarten, starting with a TOHLA clinic and quickly moving into organized play with Baldwin PAL in third grade. Over the years, he’s dedicated himself to the sport, playing for travel teams like LILC in Port Washington and Shore to Shore, and representing Baldwin Middle School and Long Island Lutheran High School at increasingly competitive levels. Dillon’s commitment and talent have now earned him a spot as the youngest player on Jamaica’s U20 national lacrosse team—a remarkable achievement that reflects years of hard work and the support of his coaches, including Kenneth Roberts, Skip Dadiego, Steve Sombrotto, Mike O’Reilly, Todd Higgins, and Jimmy Montana.

This summer, Dillon will represent Jamaica on the world stage at the U20 World Championships in South Korea. For Dillon and his family, this is more than just a tournament—his father was born in Jamaica, and the chance to wear the Jamaican colors fills their entire family, both in the U.S. and back in Jamaica, with pride. The journey begins with a training camp in Los Angeles from August 8-11, followed by travel to South Korea, where the team will face England in their first game on August 15th. The team’s goal is to medal at the championships, with the hope of becoming the highest-ranking Jamaican team sport ever.
