We are asking friends, family, and the community to join in prayers and support for the DiFranco Family.

John and Tonya Difranco are longtime residents of Wickliffe. John works for the City of Willowick and Tonya is a teacher. They are also the loving parents of three beautiful daughters, Gianna, Bella, and Alexa.

In 2023, Giana was diagnosed with Thymus Cancer and Myasthenia. This was shortly after her son Giovanni was born. She spent most of February of 2024 in the ICU, too weak to begin treatment. While the latest news on Giana’s health has been promising, she still has a long journey ahead of her.

In addition, after a courageous fight against breast cancer in 2021, in February of 2024, Tonya learned that her cancer has returned and has now metastasized into her bones and lymph nodes.

While Tonya continues to plan her treatment and begin her latest fight, she is also standing by her daughter’s side fighting with her to get better.

With the unimaginable chapter that this family is going through now, the burden of finances for future medical treatments, missed work, and past medical bills is a gift we can all give to this wonderful family.

We are also hosting a benefit in their honor.
