Hello everyone, thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Unfortunately today we learned that our Diesel boy, who just turned 4 years old, has fractured his spine. He was in critical condition due to a dangerously high fever from being in pain. He almost didn’t make it. We were shocked since he doesn’t jump or climb stairs, but we found out he was born like that and it finally gave out and bent. As of now he is paralyzed and he’s unable to use his back legs. We were referred to a specialist and they said he will need an emergency surgery to remove the bone that’s crushing another bone and replace it with a smaller artificial piece in order for him to be able to walk again, but the surgery will be around $3,300-3,500+ plus the cost of a wheel chair to either recover or if he needs one permanently, it will be a customized chair since he is a French bulldog and is shorter than usual. We have been temporarily quoted at $500-800 for the chair. We appreciate any help, whether it’s $5, $10, etc. We really don’t want him suffering and we are praying the surgery works and he’s able to fully recover, they said there’s a high chance he will be able to walk again after the procedure and physical therapy.

Diesel is such a funny, playful & silly boy and no matter what mood you’re in he always makes you smile. He has so much personality and he’s always making us laugh! If you’ve met him, you know what I’m talking about. We love him so much and this has been a nightmare. We are devastated!
