Support Diesel's Emergency Medical Care

Donation protected
2/26/25 7:20 pm: We are home from the hospital! Praise Jesus! Diesel made progress enough to leave but his road to recovery still continues. I am very nervous about going through the night without a Dr. right outside of his door but if he continues to progress then hopefully our visits to the ER are over! Thank you all for continuing to support us with this extremely heavy financial burden. Diesel’s diagnosis is extreme pancreatitis and he is now more susceptible to flare ups in the future. A lifestyle change (food mainly) is coming in the future. But, for now we are taking it hour by hour, day by day. Lots of medicine, rest and importantly snuggles (with a very stinky boy who needs a bath)

2/25/25 6:55 pm: We have another long night ahead of us in the ER. Please continue to pray for Diesel and that he will pull through this. They have ruled out tumors / masses but something has caused the gastrointestinal issues that are pointing towards pancreatitis (?) at the moment. That’s really all the answers we have. We are hopeful, we’ve had an amazing Dr on shift today and we have another awesome Dr for our night here. Tonight’s medical bills have surpassed the original goal but Diesel is fighting and we are continuing to fight for him so he can live the rest of his life happy and healthy. We are hopeful but we are still not “out of the weeds.” Thank you from the bottom of my heart! God is so good and we are fully trusting in him!

Hi friends. This is something I never thought I would do or for that matter have to do. But here I am, asking for help. Whether it’s a prayer or a donation, Diesel and I both would be forever grateful. It’s been a very long 48 hours and we’re not in the clear.
Long story short:
Sunday morning around 3 am I was awakened to vomiting and diarrhea (to the extreme). As the morning went by things continuously got worse and that lead us to visiting the ER. Diesel was hospitalized later that morning and he was actually released at 12 yesterday. At this point, I do not believe it was best that he be released but I am no professional and I am having to trust that the dr on call did what she thought was right.
This morning (Tuesday) at 3 am Diesels vomiting spells began again. We are back at the ER and his blood pressure is extremely high, his dehydration levels are out of this world, he has a large amount of fluid in his stomach which had lead to a tube being put down his nose (in hopes to continue keeping this at bay) and every so often he has to be cleaned because well he’s going to the bathroom on himself.

We are waiting on an ultrasound specialist to arrive, the X-rays are not showing anything abnormal but the ultrasound will give us more answers because something IS NOT RIGHT.

As you can imagine the medical bills are just growing… and I do not like asking for help. I never thought I would be in a position to ask for this kind of help but as Diesel continues to fight… I want to be able to fight for him.

whether it’s a monetary donation or a prayer, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! He is my best friend and the goodest boy. He has always been flawless healthy up until now and we’re just really hoping for a miracle.

xoxo,

Caitlin & Diesel
