On July 4th, 2025, our little Diego began feeling sick. We rushed him to the hospital, and it turned out that he required emergency surgery. He was sent home to us on July 10th, hoping he would begin his recovery journey, but the very next day, he got sick again. He was hospitalized, and two days later, we were told he had developed a septic infection.

On July 15th, 2025, our little Dieguito completed his purpose here on this earth. We had the best day ever by taking him to his most favorite places (San Diego Harbor, OB Dog Beach), played with his favorite things (lasers, balloons), and we went on a nice last walk.

We did everything that we could to help our little Diego have the best chance at life. Unfortunately, all of this took a big financial toll on us with veterinary bills totaling $15,000.

El 4 de Julio del 2025, nuestro pequeño Diego comenzó a sentirse enfermo. Lo llevamos de urgencia al hospital, y resultó que necesitaba una cirugía de emergencia. Fue enviado a casa con nosotros el 10 de Julio, con la esperanza de comenzar su recuperación, pero al día siguiente, se enfermó de nuevo. Fue hospitalizado, y dos días después, nos dijeron que había desarrollado una infección séptica. El 15 de Julio de 2025, Dieguito completó su propósito aquí en esta tierra. Tuvimos el mejor día de su vida llevándolo a sus lugares favoritos (San Diego Harbor, OB Dog Beach), jugamos con sus cosas favoritas (láseres, globos) y dimos un agradable último paseo. 

 Hicimos todo lo que pudimos para ayudar a nuestro pequeño Diego pero desafortunadamente, todo esto nos costó mucho dinero con facturas veterinarias por un total de $15,000. Si Diego alguna vez te hizo sonreír, tocó tu corazón, te dejó con hermosos recuerdos, y te gustaría contribuir a estos costos, estaríamos muy agradecidos y apreciaremos tu contribución.
