Support Diego Herrera's Family in Their Time of Loss

I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of the family of Diego Herrera. It is with a broken heart that we must announce that Diego has unexpectedly left this life, and is now flying with the angels.

In late June of this year, he suffered a bad fall, sustaining multiple injuries and ending up in the hospital. It was then that Diego was found to have extensive and late stage cancer, which had spread throughout his body and was beyond any treatment available. In the weeks that followed, he suffered in agony as the disease overtook his vitality. The progression of the cancer was much faster than even the medical professionals anticipated, and Diego succumbed to the illness on July 26th, 2024.

Diego was a wonderful, loving father of nine, as well as a grandfather of ten. He dedicated his life to working hard in order to provide for his family. This included working as a pool technician for Don Johnson's Pool and Spa for 23 years, and ambitiously creating his own company, which he named San Diego's Pool Service. Due to the unexpected nature of his passing, we regretfully have found ourselves at a financial disadvantage. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us give my Father-In-Law the dignified farewell he deserves. Your generosity will help us to honor the memories of our dear loved one.
