As many may know, but to some this may be new news, our friend Diana Cariaga (Didi) has been receiving dialysis for 2 years now due to kidney failure. Didi’s older sister has graciously offered one of her own kidney’s, as Didi’s donor. The date of surgery will be late May for the kidney transplant.

I am creating this fundraiser for my friend and her sister, to help during their recovery, so they can heal and recover stress free. Anything at this time helps, as surgery will be costly.

Didi is a huge asset to our coast side community and works for the Boys and Girls Club on the coast. Didi has the biggest heart, is one of the funniest people, and brings light to anyone she is around. Not to mention, she has been one of Half Moon Bay High School’s greatest athletes for basketball and volleyball. She is an unforgettable soul. No matter her struggles, she is always smiling and active in her community. You would never know she has been struggling because of the big smile she holds despite her hardships.
