Help Rebuild Our Home After Hurricane Melissa

Hello, my name is Dicoda Bernard, and I am organizing this fundraiser to assist my family and other families in my community who were affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

My childhood home in Troy, Trelawny was completely destroyed, leaving my family with nothing. We lost not only our possessions but also the precious memories and memorabilia that told our family’s story.

This home was built through my mother’s hard work, dedication, and love—a safe haven for her mother, children, and extended family. It was a place we could always call home. Now, its destruction has left us displaced and devastated, especially my younger brothers, who witnessed the hurricane’s destruction firsthand.

my family and the Troy Community are in urgent need of support to help us rebuild our home and begin to restore our lives. With the donations we would be able to restock food supplies, Purchase building materials, and assist families with basic toiletries needs. Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
