Hi, my name is Jennie Allen. Recently, my sister, Dianne Marchant, wasn't feeling well. She thought she had a kidney stone, but after going to the ER, she found out she had cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 3 Squamous Rectal Cancer. To say my sister has been through a lot is an understatement. She has battled through brain surgery, thyroid cancer, two knee replacement surgeries, spine surgery, multiple hand surgeries, and now cancer.
Dianne is one of the hardest working people I know.
She is a single mom to three girls and works nonstop to provide for herself and her girls. Dianne's treatment included radiation and chemo. She is almost halfway through her treatment and still hasn't missed a day of work. Her biggest worry is taking care of her girls.
She works as a nurse on the billing side of the medical world, so she is well aware of the cost of treatment.
As the bills pile up, her anxiety about how she will provide for her family and pay her medical bills is rising. I am trying to help in any way to ease her mind and focus on getting better. Her prognosis looks promising with this treatment, and I want that to be her focus. She has 15 more radiation treatments to go. Each day is getting harder, and the pain from the radiation is getting worse after each treatment. I am hoping to help relieve some of the financial stress she is experiencing. We are appreciative of any donation. Dianne is a fighter and she will beat cancer.
