On Jan. 6, 2025, Diane Schwartz was called a fifth time to Baylor Scott & White All Saints in Fort Worth to receive a possible liver for transplant. The previous four were not viable, which was tough emotionally on Diane, but she stayed positive and ready. Early on the morning of Jan. 7, she received a miracle – a healthy liver.
Since then, Diane's healing journey has been a road filled with joy rides, but also a multitude of bumps, offramps and big detours, and we have had to extend our stay in Fort Worth to be close to the hospital. Things can be great one moment but can turn scary in a heartbeat. We give thanks for the incredible transplant team of doctors, nurses, staff, social workers and our favorite Chaplain Gary, who never panic (we, on the other hand, may have panicked a time or two!) but deftly use their God-given knowledge and skills to get Diane back on the road to recovery.
All funds received through this site will help Diane cover her rising medical and living expenses, which have topped $10,000. Your prayers, generosity, kindness and positivity mean the world to Diane!
As you consider supporting Diane, we also humbly ask that you join us in prayer for the unknown family who made a heartbreaking – yet life-giving – decision on behalf of their loved one. We will be forever grateful.
