While undergoing palliative care treatments for incurable cancer, our dear wonder Diane Christopherson continues to care for others: serving part-time with limited hours as hospital chaplain in two medical systems; delighting others as piano accompanist in worship at a Presbyterian congregation in Toledo; advocating with others in SE MI/NW OH for immigrant neighbors, near and far; collaborating with interfaith partners, promoting and modeling mutually supportive relationships in NW OH; volunteering on committees for those seeking board certification as chaplains; and more. Diane will soon celebrate her 25th ordination anniversary as a minister in the United Church of Christ and 12 years as a board certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains.

We can support her in ALL of her work (limited by physical and organizational constraints) by helping to ease her financial concerns:

* help cover some of her daily living expenses as she has been unable to return to the 5 part-time jobs she juggled before her current diagnosis

* help her meet medical insurance deductibles, co-payments, and the costs of medical equipment and supplies

* ultimately, contribute to her anticipated end-of-life expenses (although she is not yet in hospice care)
