Support Diane Walters' Healing Journey

Hello! My name is Riley Walters, and on the 27th of June, my mother, Diane Walters, had a stroke.

She is doing great- she is tired, but already has overcome many obstacles. The medical professionals cleared her to return home early this week, which has been a major blessing; but her medical journey is not going to be over anytime soon.

She has many follow up appointments, medications and is no longer able to work.

For those of you who know my mom, she keeps to herself, doesn't ask others for anything and has never, ever complained. She has taken each step of this learning curve with grace and patience. She's a miracle on Earth.

Mom has spent her years providing for the community. From her being a school nurse for many years and continuing her nursing career in long term care, she has given so much compassion and empathy to others around her. She has always gone above and beyond to care for everyone around her before herself.

She has always stepped up for our family and friends, and now it's time for us to do something in return- a little bit goes a long way.
