Support Diane Mancini's Hospice Care Needs
Donation protected
My mother, Diane Mancini, has worked all her life. She has taken care of others all her life. She is the nicest person you would ever meet...
And she's dying.
There is nothing anyone can do to stop that.
As if that wasn't bad enough, her vehicle broke down right before she went on "at home hospice"... and mine was broken in the last hurricane... (FEMA denied my claim).
We absolutely need a vehicle. We needed one prior to this, but now we need one even more. My mother's life is at stake.
I have asked for help on behalf of other people, and I have helped a lot of other people. I have never asked for help for myself.
I am doing so now, though it is very difficult for me to do.
We will not be having a Christmas this year. I hate it, but with all that is going on, there is no way I can afford to buy anyone anything. I think my son understands, but I know how disappointed he must be... and that is like an ice pick in my skull.
Having mom in a hospital bed in the middle of the living room and her not being able to walk or get up is going to be extremely difficult... but she took care of us, so now it's our turn, "our" being my brother and me.
But as I said, we absolutely need a vehicle.
We are used to living with very little. We have never been rich; it has always been paycheck to paycheck. But when things like this happen, we have always found some way to deal with it.
But this is too much. We are on a fixed income. This is going to break us. We are indeed in dire straits, and we really need your help.
If you can't afford to donate, I completely understand. Times are tough for everyone. But if you can't donate, please share this.
I am at a loss as to a solution for this... aside from this GoFundMe.
