Diane Eck, my oldest and dearest friend, was in the hospital for many months and then in a rehabilitation center totaling over 8 months. In the beginning, doctors had given her no chance of survival and wanted to send her home with hospice care. She endured three surgeries after coming out of the initial coma. Diane is a strong woman who literally fought for her life with the support of her two sons, Larry John and Curt Eck, and other wonderful extended family members.
Diane retired from the Cleveland, Ohio Police Department as a dispatcher. Her calming, yet strong discerning manner saved many lives. She has helped many people over her life and now the roles are reversed and she needs you. She needs financial support for her medications and transport vehicle. She can no longer walk but continues with therapy to gain back her strength. She wants to continue to be a mom, grandma, and soon-to-be great-grandmother! She still has words of wisdom and will set an example for the younger generations in her family and friends. We love her so very much. Please, if you can, help us to support her.
