Support Diane Davin's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Ashley Davin, I am the granddaughter of Diane Davin.
On Tuesday May, 28th 2024, Diane fell asleep at the wheel on her way home where she went off the road, rolled, and was trapped in the vehicle. She was extricated and life flighted to the hospital. She spent 5 days in the ICU and is now still in hospital recovering from a neck and skull fracture, which caused a brain bleed. As well as, a broken wrist, collarbone and several ribs. Miraculously, she has been conscious since the accident. So far, Diane has had one procedure to repair the collarbone. Diane is still experiencing a great deal of pain, she will have a long recovery process.
We, her family, are grateful to everyone who responded quickly to the accident and thank God for protecting her.
Diane is the main caregiver for her husband Al, who has early dementia and also needs constant care.
The Davin family will be working together to provide around the clock care for them both. We know there are friends and family who will want to help and support Diane and Al during this time. Diane is the matriarch of our family, she always shows up and provides unending support to everyone in her life.
Funds contributed will first go towards the cost of uncovered medical expenses, current bills & medication, and then replacing the family vehicle, which was a total loss. The Davin family appreciates any and all support, please reach out to myself or other immediate family members if you prefer to support in other ways or with any questions. We will share updates on Diane as she progresses through her recovery.
Thank you!
