Support Diane and Harper's Healing Journey
Donation protected
On Tuesday, May 27th, Diane and her granddaughter Harper were involved in a devastating ATV accident while heading to Diane’s house for the night. The throttle on the ATV, unknowingly stuck wide open, caused the vehicle to take off uncontrollably. Diane was thrown from the ATV, suffering a broken femur and severe pelvic trauma, she is currently in process to be transferred to Saint Barnes Jewish hospital in St Louis. Harper, just a child, remained on the ATV until it struck a tree. She was ejected and sustained a traumatic brain injury with an internal brain bleed. A fragment from her skull fracture also caused the loss of hearing in her right ear.
Nellie, Diane’s daughter and Harper’s mom, is currently five months pregnant. She is doing her best to stay strong for her family, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. With Diane and Harper both facing long recoveries, Nellie and family have had to take time off work to care for them. The family is now facing mounting medical bills, travel expenses for specialized care, ongoing therapy costs, and the challenge of covering everyday household expenses while Nellie and family are unable to work.
We are coming together to support Diane, Harper and the family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation will help ease the burden on their family, allowing them to focus on healing and recovery. Your support means the world to them as they navigate the long road ahead.
