Support Diana's Recovery After Tragic Accident

On November 29, 2025, Diana woke up to a normal Saturday. Little did she know it would be a life-changing moment. She was heading south on I-69. As she came up on a hill, right before the Marion exit, there were two semis T-boned, covering both lanes, with another vehicle wrecked adjacent to the crash. Diana tried with every known last-minute trick to avoid destiny, but she skidded and collided at 50 mph into the back of the stopped semi in the midst of the interstate. From there, she was carried across the median by an EMT and was transported to Marion General Hospital. Luckily, the passenger present was in better standing condition than Diana, and by the grace of God, Klaus, Diana's rescue ferret, made it out alive with no injuries. From there, Marion General had Diana sent by ambulance to IU Methodist, where she went to have emergency surgery on her lower spine. The Lumbar 5 had burst into her spinal cord, and if not taken care of immediately, she could have lost her ability to walk. After the first emergency surgery came the second; they had to replace her whole broken heel/ankle with a metal plate and two rods. During this whole time, she has not been able to obtain any medical insurance.

Right now, the family is accepting donations to help with the cost of transporting back and forth to appointments, prescriptions, and anything else needed to help Diana along this very tragic time. All donations, whether big or small, are appreciated and accepted with thankfulness. As of now, Diana cannot walk on her right foot due to the injury, and she is also bedridden for the 20 staples holding her lower back together. Hopefully, with time and patience, she can somewhat regain living a normal life. Thank you all so much for the support and communication to encourage her through this very scary accident.
