Life has a way of humbling us. One day you’re steady, holding everything together, and the next a storm hits and you’re on your knees, praying, crying, and wondering how you’ll make it through. That’s where I am right now.

I’ve always tried to stand on my own. I’ve laughed through pain, wiped my own tears, and whispered to myself, “you’ll figure it out.” But this season has been heavier than most. Bills piled up. Unexpected turns came. And as much as I’ve tried, I’ve reached the point where I have to whisper something even harder: I need help.

I’m not just standing for myself. I have a little boy, my son, my heart, who depends on me. Every choice I make, every prayer I say, is for him. He deserves stability, a safe ride to school, a roof over our heads, and a mama who isn’t drowning in stress. Right now, I’m doing everything I can, but it isn’t enough.

Just a week ago, I returned from Ecuador, where I fasted and prayed high in the mountains. For days, there was no food, no water, no distractions—only silence, my breath, and the endless beauty of nature. In that stillness, I discovered something: even stripped of everything, true happiness lives within, and the Earth herself is breathtakingly beautiful. That experience gave me strength and perspective, but it didn’t erase the challenges waiting at home.

And so, here I am—humbly reaching out, hoping the kindness of strangers might meet us in this storm.
