On Friday, August 1, my sister, Diana Hurtado, suffered a sudden and life-altering hemorrhagic stroke. She underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on her brain and remains in the hospital, fighting to recover. This event has left her with significant physical challenges that will require extensive medical treatment, ongoing therapy, and daily in-home care.

She has always been a strong, caring, and giving person. Now, she’s the one who needs help. The road ahead will be long, and while she is determined to fight for her recovery, her financial burden is overwhelming.

Our family is trusting in the Lord through this journey. We believe in the healing power of Jesus and know that He is walking beside her every step of the way. Your prayers are just as important as your gifts, and we are holding on to the promise that “by His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

El viernes 1 de agosto, mi hermana, Diana Hurtado, sufrió un accidente cerebrovascular hemorrágico que le cambió la vida. Tuvo que someterse a una cirugía de emergencia para aliviar la presión en su cerebro y continúa en el hospital, luchando por recuperarse. Este evento le ha dejado con importantes desafíos físicos que requerirán tratamiento médico extenso, terapia continua y cuidado diario en casa.

Siempre ha sido una persona fuerte, cariñosa y generosa. Ahora, es ella quien necesita ayuda. El camino por delante será largo, y aunque está decidida a luchar por su recuperación, su carga financiera sera abrumadora.

Nuestra familia está confiando en el Señor durante este proceso. Creemos en el poder sanador de Jesús y sabemos que Él camina a su lado en cada paso. Sus oraciones son tan importantes como sus aportes, y nos aferramos a la promesa de que “por sus heridas fuimos sanados” (Isaías 53:5).
