Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for support for my Cousin Diana who is currently hospitalized due to a serious infection on her foot, that’s now resulted into other complications requiring immediate attention of care. She is self-employed as a hairdresser, and because of her type of work that requires her to be on her feet for hours at a time. She has been working continuously with this ongoing infection for sometime, which has now led her to hospitalization. She’s been advised by doctors that are stressing for her to stay off her feet completely so she can properly heal.

Unfortunately, this means she is unable to work and has no steady income during this time. As many of you know, being self-employed can make situations like this especially challenging.
