Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our beloved Diana. Diana is a loving and devoted wife and mother, grandmother, a caring friend, and a shining light in the lives of everyone who has the privilege of meeting her. Diana’s passion for teaching has touched the lives of countless students over the years, and has left an everlasting impact on her community. Recently, Diana went to the emergency room for excruciating back pain, and was later diagnosed not only with back fractures, but also Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer that has spread to her spine. This has been an absolute shock to both Diana and her loved ones, as she faces an incredibly challenging physical, emotional, and financial battle.
Although Diana has remained her usual positive self throughout this fight thus far, this diagnosis has unexpectedly turned the lives of her and her loved ones upside down. Due to the debilitating nature of this disease, Diana is no longer able to teach. She misses her students and co-workers dearly, and anxiously awaits the day that she is able to return to the classroom. Along with the physical and emotional toll of this disease, Diana and her family are now burdened with overwhelming medical bills, countless doctor’s appointments, and the cost of ongoing cancer treatments. Despite her courage and determination to fight, the financial strain that the cancer has caused has quickly become evident.
Diana has always had a selfless, nurturing spirit, and is immensely proud of her incredible family - especially her 3 boys, grandson, and 2 wonderful dogs, Bandit and Nala. She is tremendously grateful for her loving husband, Curtis, who has been by her side through every step of this daunting journey. Your generous support will allow Diana to focus solely on her healing and precious quality time with her loved ones, rather than worrying about the financial burden of her ongoing treatment.
Diana has always been a woman of unwavering faith, and truly believes that with the support of her loved ones and the power of positivity, she will overcome this battle. She loves all things nature and truly misses hiking the beautiful trails of Arizona, cooking, and doing things with family and friends. We are confident that, with your generosity, she will be able to continue her fight with hope and strength and get back to doing all the things that she enjoys! Your positive thoughts, prayers, and love mean the world to Diana and her family as they navigate this challenging time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support.
