I am starting this GoFundMe for my dear friend and sister at heart, Diana Owen — a woman with a heart of gold who has poured so much love, kindness, and generosity into the lives of others. Time and again, she has been there for me and my family in our moments of need, never asking for anything in return. Now, it’s Diana who needs help, and it breaks my heart to see her in this situation.

Diana is facing a serious health crisis. Her primary care doctor has urged her to see a specialist, but without health insurance and with already overwhelming medical bills, she simply cannot afford the cost. She has an appointment scheduled for August 27 that could help uncover what’s wrong, but without the funds, she may not be able to go.

In just a little over a month, Diana has lost 30 pounds because eating has become such a struggle. Even the simplest daily activities exhaust her; just three hours of being up and moving leaves her drained. When I visited her recently, she was trembling, pale, and so weak.
