Yesterday, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. My aunt, Diana Miller, lost her home of more than 40 years in the Aspen Acres Fire in Beulah, Colorado. The fire moved so quickly that there was little to no warning, and she lost everything she owned. A lifetime of memories, treasured keepsakes, family photographs, and the home she built over four decades are all gone.

If you’ve ever met Diana, you know she is one of the most selfless people you’ll ever encounter. She has dedicated decades of her life as the Director of the Raptor Center, devoting herself to rehabilitating birds of prey, educating the public, protecting wildlife, and serving our community. She has spent her life giving back—always helping others, caring for animals, and making a difference without ever asking for anything in return.

Now, Diana is the one who needs our help.

She is facing the heartbreaking reality of starting over with nothing. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help provide immediate necessities such as clothing, food, toiletries, temporary housing, and other essentials as she begins the long journey of rebuilding her life.
