My name is Jeremy, and I have started this GoFundMe for my friend and colleague, Diana Hart. Diana and I have worked together at the same real estate firm for a couple of years now. She lives in Connecticut, but was a California girl for many years (yes, of course there was some acting involved).

Late last year, just before Christmas, Diana was diagnosed with cancer. She was very private about this and didn't let very many people know the extent of what was happening, but I was one of those people. She has been through the gamut of what you would expect for anyone with this kind of diagnosis: scary doctor's appointments, surgery, radiation, and of course, the uncertain waiting to see if it all worked. As a single woman who had just moved cross-country to "start new" in CT, without a support network in place, she has been walking through this on her own.

The good news is that the surgeries and treatments have seemed to be effective so far. Of course there are still lots of doctor's appointments to keep an eye on things, but the bad news is the she has continued expenses, treatments, additional scans, medication, check-ups and seemingly endless invoices and bills coming to her in all different directions (FAR BEYOND any kind of insurance / co-pay help). This is all on her at this point, and at times, I imagine it feels overwhelming. But that is where we all come in!

No matter if you are able to give $5 or $5,000, I know that every dollar raised will be appreciated by Diana. Thank you in advance for going whatever is laid on your heart to give. If this isn't part of living out James 1:27, I don't know what is.
