Roughly 3 days ago, we took Diamond to urgent care for a lump on her hock joint. After spending $1.1k on a lot of bloodwork and X-rays, and paying for a specialist to read her X-rays, we were told our pretty girl Diamond has osteosarcoma (bone cancer). They want us to have chest X-rays done for staging to see if the cancer has spread to her lungs or anywhere else and have a biopsy done of the tumor. The issue is our regular vet isn't able to do chest X-rays, so going to an urgent care to have them done costs roughly $1.1k plus the biopsy (which the vet hasn't gave me an estimate on that yet, will find out Wednesday when we see the regular vet for a recheck up) , and they haven't given me an estimate for the biopsy yet. Emergency vet care is so expensive. My goal is to at least try and get the chest X-rays done so we can know if the cancer has spread and we know what our next steps would be. I hate to ask anyone for any help, but unfortunately, I just spent all my savings on her urgent visit a couple of days ago. I'm trying my hardest to keep my girl pain-free and alive long enough for our younger child to get home from summer vacation so we can all say our goodbyes together if it comes down to that! The tumor has grown just in the last couple of days. My heart is breaking. If you can help, we all would appreciate it!!

Funds will be used to pay for chest x-rays for spread of cancer and biopsy of tumor.
