Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

I’m reaching out today with a heartfelt plea for help for my dear friends Marisha and Marc’s sweet dog, Diamond. She has already overcome unimaginable odds, and now she needs us more than ever.

In February of 2024, Diamond was brutally attacked and struck with a machete, causing severe skull fractures. By an incredible miracle, she survived this horrific injury with no brain swelling and no neurological issues. Even the surgeons were stunned by her resilience and strength. She is truly a warrior.

Despite all she’s been through, Diamond’s spirit remains unbreakable. She continues to wag her tail, trust every human, child, and dog she meets, and spreads love wherever she goes. Her incredible journey is a testament to the healing power of love and hope.

Now, Diamond urgently needs life-saving surgery for gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), and the clock is ticking. The surgery is scheduled for today, but the medical costs are more than Marisha and Marc can manage on their own. They are asking for help from the community to give Diamond the chance at a full recovery.
