Hi, my name is Diamond. I'm 24 years old, a widow, a single mom to two little boys, and now I'm working toward becoming the legal guardian of my 13-year-old niece.

In July of 2024, my older brother Victor passed away from scleroderma, leaving behind his daughters. Just six months later, my husband William passed away by suicide. At just 23 years old, I found myself navigating widowhood, raising our two boys without their father, and trying to rebuild a life I never imagined having to live.

Then, in February of 2026, our family experienced another heartbreaking loss when my sister-in-law, the mother of my brother's children, passed away, leaving my nieces without either of their parents.

Recently, I made the decision to bring my 13-year-old niece into my home and care for her alongside my two boys.

This wasn't something I ever imagined I'd be doing at 24, but I love my niece, and I want her to have a safe, stable, and loving home after everything she's been through.

While I've already welcomed her into my family and home, I'm now working through the legal process of officially becoming her guardian.

I'm raising funds to help cover attorney fees, court costs, and other expenses associated with establishing legal guardianship.

As a single mother and small business owner, taking on these additional expenses while providing for three children is a significant financial responsibility. But I don't want finances to stand in the way of giving my niece the stability and security she deserves.

My faith in Jesus has carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and I continue to trust Him as I navigate this new chapter.
