On April 10th, around 2am, my 3-year-old cousin fell out of an apartment window at Parkview Apartments in St. Louis, MO.

My name is Terance and I'm the big cousin of Diamond, and it was her son who fell out the window! Her son was with his dad's family while she was in rehab recovering from having her leg amputated.

Diamond has had such a rough 3 to 5 years and now this... THIS IS NOT WHAT SHE NEEDED AND SHE IS DEVASTATED!

Diamond has 2 other children to care for, but now has to grieve and try to make sense of something so senseless while still recovering from gun violence that led to her having to get her leg amputated.

For the past 2-3 years, she has been in and out of rehabilitation. She is currently in rehab dealing with mental emotional stress, and this has made her situation even worse! Shes is taking medication to help, but it only makes her sleep. Staff checks on her regularly, as protocol, to make sure she's not suicidal or hurt herself! Her support system is doing everything we can to try to lessen the burden & her responsibilities until she's able. Her heart is shattered!!
