Dear Halfway To Home supporters,

We desperately ask for your help once more. On January 28th, Diamond needed an emergency surgery for an anal prolapse. She received a procedure and was recovering well. However, today (February 18th) the same happened. We have taken her to the vet already and now ask for your help covering the expenses for her procedures. We have already started making the payments for her medical expenses. We are a non-profit rescue that relies on donations from the community or donations we collect through our adoptions. While we have had a few adoptions this month, they are not enough to cover Diamond’s expenses or the upcoming neuters for our four brand new “C” puppies. We have taken in 16 other dogs this year already and have had to pay for their veterinary care as well as Diamond’s. Diamond’s veterinary care alone has totaled about $2,000.
