Hey, I'm Diamond, a 25-year-old mom of 3. Hurricanes Helene and Milton have caused us to lose everything, unfortunately. I live in Zone B, and both storms hit us hard. Being that they were 2 weeks apart, I have had no time to repair or replace any of the damage caused by Helene, and now Milton has come in and finished the job of ruining everything we own. The ceiling in my room has completely collapsed and flooded my room and hallway. My daughter's room was completely flooded from her ceiling leaks, and my living room is completely flooded as the ceiling is leaking and cracking and looks to be on the verge of collapse as well.

I am a single mom of 3, so as you can imagine, this has put a strain on me, and FEMA still has yet to respond to the damage claim I put in from Hurricane Helene, so I don’t imagine they will move any faster now.

Although it pains me to have to ask for help, I am not in a position to be prideful, and I am asking for help rebuilding my children's and my lives.
