Hello friends and family. This is a chapter in life that I wish I never had to experience. My son, Diago Alvear, who is 13 years old, has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Diago is a very positive, outgoing, and humorous kid. Always with a smile and leaves an amazing impression wherever he goes.

The cancer has affected his pelvic region and luckily has not spread. He currently has a fracture near his hip socket. Diago has already started his chemotherapy in San Antonio, Texas. He has remained very strong and positive given the circumstances.

With treatment like this comes the burden of constant visits and long trips. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated. Everything we can do to help and surround him with love is what is most important so he can focus on beating this cancer. Please spread the word. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
