Every summer, children with Type 1 diabetes gather at Diabetes Camping and Educational Services, Inc. for an experience that transcends mere recreation.

Maddie was diagnosed when she was 2 years old. Since then she has yet to interact with other kids who are diabetic like her. Having the experience to meet and interact with other kids like her would let he know she isn't alone
