Hello everyone!
We are Dhirana, an intercollegiate Indian classical dance competition run by students at the University of Pittsburgh. We are thrilled to be hosting our 14th annual competition on March 21, 2026.
Each year, we invite talented collegiate classical dancers from around the country to showcase their creativity through the portrayal of various themes and stories. All of their performances have one thing in common: they beautifully illustrate the richness of the Indian classical art forms.
At Dhirana, our mission is to provide a stage for these dancers while spreading knowledge about the Indian classical arts in the greater Pittsburgh region. We donate all of our ticket proceeds to the Birmingham Free Clinic, an organization that aims to provide healthcare to the underinsured population of Pittsburgh.
We would really appreciate any donation to help us run our competition and promote Indian culture while doing good for our community. Any amount is sincerely appreciated!!
Thank you so much for your time and we hope you consider donating to our cause!
