Support Dezzy's Journey to a Better Life

Allie, now known as Dezzy, was a tough rescue. Being given away in a Walmart parking lot with her siblings for free, she arrived shortly before Christmas 2023. She was a tiny 3-pound mix breed dog who had a serious case of pneumonia which took the life of her sister and Dezzy was not expected to live. After months of intense medical treatment, Dezzy finally came out of quarantine and was given a clean bill of health.

Due to her poor health as a pup and forced isolation, Dezzy lacked some social skills and had fear aggression which has only gotten worse over time. Due to no fault of her own, her new family is returning her. Because she is now a 9-month-old, 45-pound dog, she will need to enter intense training to focus on the issues that were not addressed which has caused her to continue to have behavioral issues as she has grown. Dezzy is extremely smart, active, and now a large puppy who needs direction.
