Help Dexters to get a Brick & Mortar
Donation protected
It took so much for me to do this, so please be kind. As many of you know, I started a business called Dexter’s in Greenville, MI in March of 2024. It was a success from the start, and things went really well all summer long. Unfortunately, my food costs kept rising, which severely hurt profits, and when I finally raised my prices, the customers stopped coming. Fortunately, we are doing well again; costs have gone back down, and so have our prices, but I have put everything into Dexter’s in the meantime.
With Dexter’s taking all my funds, I have been unable to make a mortgage payment since September! I am now 4 months past due and on the verge of losing my home. I currently also provide rooms for two of my employees, one of whom was recently homeless in the Meijer parking lot in Greenville until I gave them a job and a place to live. If I lose my home, we all become homeless and ultimately will have to close Dexter’s! I have been doing everything I can think of to try and make ends meet; this is not something I take lightly. If you can find it in your heart this holiday season to help a local struggling business owner, we all would be so grateful!
