Support Dexter's Fight Against IVDD Paralysis

Dexter, has always been the heart of our home—full of energy, love, and personality. From the first moment I laid eyes on him it was a true love at first sight moment. My heart knew that without him in our life something would forever be missing. All who have had the chance of meeting Dexter have had the pleasure to experience how he just wiggles his way into your heart forever…even though your shoe may leave a bit wet from his greeting. It is just that he has this smile that melts your heart and gives the most amazing snuggles.

Recently, he suffered a sudden and severe onset of Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a condition that has tragically left the back end of his body paralyzed. It came without warning and is progressing quickly, putting his future at serious risk.

The good news is that there is hope—but time is critical. Surgery can greatly improve Dexter’s chances of recovery and help him return to the active, happy life he deserves. However, the cost of this life-saving procedure is steep along with other medical care and bills—up to $12,000—and we need help to give Dexter the best chance possible.
