Support Dexter “Dex” on His Road to Recovery

Two weeks ago, while traveling in South America, my dad suffered a major stroke that left one side of his body paralyzed. He was rushed back home to Georgia and is currently being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital. Right now, he’s unable to work and is beginning an intense journey of therapy: physical, occupational, and speech, all necessary to help him regain mobility and get back to the chair doing what he loves.

As his daughter, I (Chynna Zachary) am organizing this GoFundMe to help support his recovery. Funds will go toward his rehabilitation, medical expenses, and basic living costs while he’s unable to work. He’s self-employed and doesn’t have the safety net many others do, but I believe in the power of community and in the legacy my dad has built.

Dex is a proud father, grandfather, son, and brother, and one of the hardest-working men I know. With your help, we believe in a full recovery so he can get back to life and the people he loves. Thank you for showing up for my dad.
