Support Dewey's Fight for Survival

Dewey has been diagnosed with primary immune mediated hemolytic anemia, which is very rare in cats, let alone young cats. He is doing better but still has a long road ahead of him with steroids and antibiotics. She had to make another large payment today but we’re hopeful it doesn’t cost too much more!

My mom's one year old cat Dewey is currently in the animal ER with a 50/50 chance of survival. She got him and his sister Lizzie 2 years after the very unexpected passing of my father, her husband Steve, in 2021. They have brought so much joy into her life and have given her more reasons to smile ever since my dad's passing.

Already today she has had to pay quite a bit out of pocket for his blood transfusion and IV fluids, and he is staying overnight for care and observation. We're not sure what these next 24 hours will look like but any help you are able to give would be tremendously helpful!!
