I truly wish I didn’t have to make this request, but I’m reaching out because I’m in a very difficult place right now—and I need help.

My car is on its last leg and has become unreliable to the point where I’m constantly worried if it’ll get me to work the next day. Without a working vehicle, I risk losing the very job I’m working so hard to hold onto, and that terrifies me. Public transportation isn’t an option for where I live, and ride-shares are far too expensive to rely on daily to commute from Fredericksburg all the way to Fairfax everyday.

On top of that, I’ve been falling behind on bills, and trying to stay afloat has meant I haven’t been able to save anything toward a replacement car. My phone is also behind on payments since my grandpa died and had me on his phone plan and I’m now at risk of not just my car completely stop working but also not having a phone. I’m working as many hours as I can, but even that has become a major challenge due to ongoing medical issues. Most days, I’m pushing through intense pain and exhaustion just to get by—and it’s taking a toll.

I’m asking for help not just to cover basic bills, but mostly to help me afford a safe, reliable car so I can continue working and regain some stability. This isn’t easy to ask, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t do this alone.
