Everyone knows Devon and his Slothie. Not everyone knows he has been struggling for the last year, getting a bit weaker, pooping in the house, getting more restless as time goes…. He has regular appointments, and nothing dramatic has happened until last week when he kept collapsing and couldn’t get up on his own. I won’t even go into the heartbreak of the poor guy struggling and trying to follow me when I would try to do things and falling again, pooping himself…. It was horrible and nobody needs to imagine it, and I took no photos of that nightmare. He was a bit stronger after a couple days but not normal, so I put in a call to my amazing vet who said he might need an alignment to help him.

He did improve in strength as the week went on, but on the way to the vet, he had another collapsing episode, bless him. The chiropractor was wonderful, and Devon loved her. She discovered why he keeps falling, and it’s a neurological issue with his vision that is effecting his balance. His other issues, she can help with - including stiffness due to calcification and arthritis. He has another appointment next Thursday April 10, and he will have 6 more appointments after that.
