Support Devon Santana's Road to Recovery

Hi friends and family. I wanna start by thanking you for your time to stop and read this to support our family. We are asking for help and support for my sister, Faith's boyfriend, Devon Santana. In the early morning on Feb 1st, 2025, Devon and a group were walking in the downtown area. A man in a truck pulled up to the group and began yelling inappropriate/disrespectful comments directed at the women that were walking with him. Devon did what any reasonable and respectable man would and defended these girls by speaking up. Devon was completely unarmed. This is when things escalated and the driver proceeded to pull out a gun and point it at the faces of both Devon and the women he was with. Devon was then shot by this stranger where he faced life-threatening injuries. Thank God for the amazing surgeons that were able to work on him for 5+ hours of surgery and get him to a stable condition. With more planned surgeries and upcoming medical appointments to follow Devon has a long road to recovery coming up, and we are asking for your support. We are looking to raise funds to help with the cost of medical bills, housing bills, and essentials to make this recovery as easy as possible for both Faith and Devon.
