Support Devon On His Journey toward Recovery and Healing

Donation protected
Devon Gove was involved in a motorcycle crash on Monday, April 14, 2025, in Rutland, MA. He was enjoying an afternoon ride on a beautiful day when a car crossed the center line and struck him. If it were not for the fast action of bystanders and emergency personnel, he may have lost his life. As a result of the crash, his leg was amputated, and he has undergone several surgeries and is currently still in the hospital. He will then transition to an acute rehab facility for several weeks before he can return home, which he is anxious to do.

Devon graduated from the Monty Tech High School Electrical program in 2023 and, before his accident, took great pride in working for his dad's tree company. He recently acquired his hoisting license and was preparing to complete his CDL class A. Devon loves everything outdoors and is a very active young man. He loved riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, snowboarding, fishing, and doing anything that involved being outdoors and active. Devon was always willing to help someone when called upon. He is known for his great smile and the ability to make people laugh with his quick humor, but most of all, he is caring. He actively participated in his community and looked forward to dressing up as the Easter bunny for the Easter egg hunt in town for several years.

We aim to ensure Devon's most comfortable during his long road to recovery. We do not doubt that his determination, grit, and great sense of humor will help him overcome this traumatic, life-changing event. Your donation will help with safety modifications to the family home to accommodate Devon in his initial transition home, any uncovered medical expenses, travel costs, treatments, care, and, most importantly, a prosthetic that meets Devon's activity level.

We greatly appreciate everyone keeping Devon in their prayers and for any contributions made during this time.
