Support Devin's Boys After Tragic Loss

My name is Amanda Oberlander-Mandeville, and this GoFundMe page is dedicated to my cousin, Devin Oberlander (30), and his two surviving children. Yesterday morning at around 6:30 a.m., Devin was struck and killed by a pickup truck while walking to the convenience store near his home in Grand Haven.

Devin had faced many challenges during his life. About five and a half years ago, I learned that Devin had suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, which resulted in a stroke. At that time, Devin was only 24 years old. He fought a long and difficult battle to recover. After regaining his strength, he could start living again for the sake of his boys.

As of yesterday, Connor (11) and Liam (9) will now have a renewed heartache. The boys live with their mom, Casey, during school months in Virginia and just spent Christmas and New Year's together.

Devin had a big heart and cared deeply for his boys, loving them with everything he had.

I wish to create a meaningful foundation for Connor and Liam as we navigate the future, keeping Devin's memory close to our hearts.
