Support Devin Rice's Youth Sports Initiative

Hello everyone,

My name is Devin Rice, and I am a professional football player, proudly representing the University of Northern Iowa and now pursuing my passion in the professional sports world. My journey to where I am today wasn’t easy, but it was shaped by the support of my community, coaches, and the incredible people who believed in me along the way. Upon graduation I quickly found my passion for mentoring the youth in my area, I utilized programs such as Central Iowa Juvenile court system and Bakari family services.

Now, it’s my turn to give back.

I’m raising funds to create an initiative that will help the youth in our community who may not have access to the resources they need to thrive in both sports and life. My mission is simple: to provide local youth with the essentials—food, clothes, and football gear—so they can focus on their dreams and potential, no matter their background.

What Your Support Will Do:

Food & Nutrition: Many young athletes in our community face food insecurity. We’ll provide healthy meals and snacks to fuel their bodies and minds, so they can focus on training and performing at their best.

Clothing & Gear: Football is an expensive sport, and some of our youth struggle to afford the necessary equipment. Donations will go towards providing quality gear like cleats, gloves, jerseys, and pads, ensuring that every kid has the tools they need to succeed and feel confident on the field.

Mentorship & Community: I want to be more than just a role model on the field. Through this program, I will work alongside coaches and community leaders to mentor young athletes, help them develop leadership skills, and teach them the values of hard work, dedication, and respect.

Why This Matters:

Growing up, I didn’t have all the advantages, but I had the drive to succeed. Thanks to the opportunities given to me, I was able to pursue my dreams and play football at not only the collegiate but professional level. However, I know that not every child has the same access or support.
