My name is Devin Hughes

I am a Pharmacy Technician and I co-own a modular home with my 69 year old mother Leslie Hughes.

Hurricane Helene flooded our area and Duke is unable to restore our power due to our meters being fried from the flooding. I have contacted an electrician.

A new meter/breaker will be approx 750 dollars

My floors were flooded and my car was flooded as well. I have reached out to my insurance companies for assessments.

I will be struggling to get to and from work and will have no home to sleep in. My mother and I (and cat) are staying in the guest room if a gracious friend of mine Chrissy Tyson.

I wouldn't normally ask for money, but there is an overwhelming amount of uncertainty right now. Will I have the ability to get to work and will I be missing days of work leading to loss in wages...

I just need assistance to help cover loss of wages and whatever bills I have to pay before I am assisted by Fema or my insurance companies.
