Support Devan Ganze's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
I'm reaching out on behalf of my friend Devan Ganze, who is currently facing a sudden and serious medical emergency. Devan experienced a dirt biking accident on 4/27/25 while spending time doing an activity that he loves with his brother in Colorado Springs. He unfortunately over-jumped a triple jump and landed on the flat, where the ground is flat rather than the downside of the jump. His brother rushed him to the nearest ER where a CT scan was performed to evaluate his injuries. Devan, his brother, and father have always shared a love of riding and fixing dirt bikes, and this was a passion that they've always shared, so this news is devastating. Devan shattered his lower spine, specifically his L3-L5 vertebrae.
Devan went into his first five-and-a-half-hour surgery early morning 4/28/25 and has his second surgery slated for later this same day. He is currently in the ICU being monitored and possibly has a third surgery tomorrow. Thankfully, he has movement in his legs but is already noticing numbing and nerve damage. Although we are hopeful and remaining positive, this will be a long road to recovery for Devan and his family. Devan is the husband of Sammie Ganze, and they share two little boys, Ryder, 3 years old, and Rhett, 7 months old.
As you can imagine, the medical expenses along with everyday living expenses are quickly becoming overwhelming for him and his family to even comprehend at this time. The financial strain is the last thing Devan needs to worry about right now while focusing on healing. We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover Devan's family's living expenses and his ongoing treatment during recovery.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you're unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your network would mean the world. We will keep you updated on Devan's progress.
