Deuce, a 5-year-old, male pit bull developed stiffness & loss of the use of his right hind leg. After several surgeries, he was diagnosed with histiocytic sarcoma, a highly aggressive cancer in dogs. On August 28th, he was scheduled for the amputation of his leg with hopes of learning to walk with a prosthetic limb. That was canceled due to additional testing, the question being would the amputation extend the quality of life. With news that the cancer had spread into his stomach, any additional surgery has been halted.

Total vet bill outlays have been extremely high for this boy. He has come through the surgeries well & maintained a sunny disposition. A Prayer Chain was set up for Deuce with an overwhelming response of over 1,500 prayers being offered. He received a blanket specially made for him by a FB group that pours out love & payers through making blankets for sick pets.

Deuce's mama & daddy are working overtime, taking on part time jobs, holding yard sales to offset these vet bills. He is the middle dog of a three-dog household, the Wild Child, Mr. Personality. His family desperately needs for him to get better. Additional prayers & positive thoughts will be gratefully accepted.
