We’re Detroit Dedication Basketball Club, a nonprofit organization co-founded by Coach Durrell Carter and Coach Rashard Porter, with a mission to develop student-athletes in Metro Detroit through structured training, mentorship, and leadership development.

This year, we’ve already made a powerful impact:

Sponsored 8 players to compete in Michigan Youth Basketball who otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity

Hosted affordable group training sessions focused on real development — not just drills, but teaching how to play the game

Rolled out our Impact Score system that tracks player growth and gives athletes a clear roadmap for improvement

Launched mentorship initiatives focused on discipline, accountability, and life skills

Began working closely with the Roseville High School Boys Basketball Program, helping rebuild the program from the ground up with a staff of passionate leaders

Now, we’re raising funds to:

✅ Sponsor more kids who can’t afford club fees or travel

✅ Expand our skill development academy

✅ Provide resources for the Roseville basketball program (gear, transportation, film sessions, team meals, and more)

✅ Keep gym access affordable for families who want their kids to train and grow in a positive environment
