Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter, Destiny, and her family during an unexpected and difficult time.

Destiny has been placed on doctor-ordered bed rest and is currently unable to work. While she prefers to keep the medical details private, this restriction is medically necessary and must be followed closely.

Destiny and her husband have two young children at home, including a toddler and another son who they have part time. Destiny needs to remain down as much as possible, which means her husband is providing daily care for Destiny and both children. While also continuing his search for employment, that allows him to continue a normal pick up schedule for their oldest. This has understandably limited his ability to work outside the home during this time.

Anyone who knows Destiny knows how strong, hardworking, and independent she is. She would never ask for help unless it was truly necessary. Our family loves her deeply, and it is difficult to see her in a position where she must rest and rely on others—but her health and her children’s well-being have to come first.

This sudden change has created a financial strain on their household. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help them cover essential living expenses during this period, including:

    •    Rent/mortgage and utilities

    •    Groceries and basic household needs

    •    Medical-related and household expenses

    •    Booth rent for Destiny’s tattoo station, so she has a place to return to work once she is medically cleared

    •    Support while her husband balances caregiving and job searching

This situation is temporary, though the length of bed rest is currently uncertain. Any support will help ease the burden so Destiny can focus on her health and their family can maintain stability during this time.
